Spiritual Beliefs

God

We believe there is one, living and true God. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Each fully God, yet distinct in role, purpose, and relationship, deserving worship and obedience.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is part of the trinity, God the Son. He was born human, lived a perfect sinless life, bore our shame on the cross. He was sacrificed for our sins, died, and rose again three days later to conquer death. We believe that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the only way to truly receive Salvation.

Bible

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the true, inspired, and authoritative Word of God, and is without error.

Man

We believe man, created in God’s image, was originally designed for fellowship with Him, but through disobedience, incurred sin and its consequences, alienating themselves from God, thereby needing salvation.

Salvation

We believe the wages of sin is death and all of humanity has a debt before God that we can never repay. We believe salvation is solely by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and offers forgiveness and reconciliation to all who repent, surrender to Jesus as Lord, and believe.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ connected to Jesus as the head. The purpose of the Church is to worship God, equip believers for ministry, and to evangelize the world.

The World

We understand the world is a fallen place and that we are in the world, but not of the world. We believe, as Christians, that we should oppose racism, greed, selfishness, vice, sexual immorality, including homosexuality and pornography. We should work with all people for the advancement of the Gospel without compromising our loyalty to Christ and His truth.
